Rein in Taufers/Riva di Tures is a high-altitude village with all sorts of eye-catchers.
For example, the Hochgall which strongly and easily shows itself off being more than 3400 meters high and with its steep, slanting edges. Or the gorgeous plains set at its feet, where one can go hiking in summers and in winters go cross-country skiing, 15 kms of trails provide each level with excitement and challenge. Mountaineering & back-country tours are feasible, doable and wonderful. Mountain huts and lodges, mountain pastures, snack bars and two shelter refuges – all are found in the midst of the high green fields or the white blankets, either way, either season a pleasure.
The ski area is tiny, has two lifts and four kilometers of slopes. That is why it is actually a splendid spot: no waiting, no queues, definitely ideal for families with children, fun for all.
Ski schools are available to everyone: cross-country skiers, skiers, snowboarders, from young to adult. They also have artificial snow-making, just in case! And après ski, for all cases!
