The Bruneck City Museum, also known as the "Eck Museum of Art," boasts an impressive collection of late Gothic art. In addition to its permanent exhibition, the museum also attracts visitors with several special exhibitions focused on modern and contemporary art.
Art lovers visit the museum thanks to its fascinating blend of historical, modern, and contemporary artworks. A highlight is the keystone by the Tyrolean painter Michael Pacher. Other sacred works on display include a late Gothic altarpiece by Simon and Veit of Taisten. All these works, along with numerous others by Paul Troger, come from the collection of the former Bruneck Heimatmuseum.
